Burglary Suspects arrested in Santa Ynez

The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary near Deer Trail Lane in Santa Ynez Saturday Evening.

On Saturday Evening a homeowner called 911 to report they observed people in their house via their home cameras. The caller reported there were two subjects in the house and a pickup truck in the driveway. The homeowner also stated he had seen the subjects remove a TV from the house.

Deputies from the Buellton and Santa Ynez stations responded immediately and surrounded the area. A subject was immediately seen by an arriving deputy and was detained while additional responding units found and took the second subject into custody. The Deputies also found the pickup truck loaded with a TV.

The subjects were questioned and no further information is known at this time.

The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
